History Behind this DVD

A few months back, I had to spend several days in the hospital. I learned that I was no longer Superman and that I would never be him again. As many of you know, I have been a long time beekeeper and have always been dedicated to the queen breeding side of beekeeping. When you are stuck in bed you have a lot of time to reflect back on things. In my case, I got to thinking about the things my Great Grandfather taught my about bees in the early 60's. I did recall the lectures he gave me on the importance of always having good queens in the hives. Then it hit me! I thought to myself, Terry Hester ole boy, you had better do something to document your process for breeding queens for the Grand Children to have in case they want to produce queens one day. After some thought I also decided it was time to let the cat out of the bag and offer this information to the world. Honey Bees are in trouble and more beekeepers producing queens will help the cause. Besides, we could never produce enough to meet the demand for good queens. It is a wide open market.
